one of the best day's of my life.

i took this post from an ex it's written from her point of view but i would have to say it was truly one of the best days i ever had in my entire life. im too busy anymore to have day's like this.

So this weekend has been everything i hoped it couldve been and more. each day has shown me, even if in small ways, how beautiful life truly can be. and how undeniably blessed i am. the little pick me up of friday was getting a full day to take care of business and stuff i'd been neglecting, followed by trying delicious indian food and making friends with the owners of the obscure restaurant i found. saturday was spent working at target, which has strangely been fulfilling and enjoying as of late. that night, i had more yummy new food from this cool Vietnamese place, and then hung out at my dear caribou for a bit. i love those people there. they are some of the best ive known. justin came over and we collaged all night. it turned out better then i thought it would (no offense ) and that was that. sunday morning was crazy cause i was the only person from my family there. so i led bible study, ran service, and led worship. it was rather hectic. but afterwards my grandma and i went out to keehner park and took pictures on a picture-takingly-perfect day.
dad got home and more church. and then there was monday. monday was the most amazing day! and here's how it went...
i was kinda dumb cause justin was supposed to be at my house at 9:30 but i crossed lines and didnt get up till 9. so i was running late and rushing when he got to my house at exactly 9:30 am. hahaha poor kid. he's always waiting on me. oh well. he didnt mind too terribly. so we departed a bit late, but all was made well because he made a mitape and music makes everything all better. yes, thats right. the kid made a mixtape. it was amazing. so good tunes and nice weather made for a great drive downtown. first, we hit up one of the greatest bookstores in existence. its seven stories of beautiful old gloriousness. it's a printing press and bookstore, specializing in old books. we definately hit up the $1 table. i purchased a complete works of shakespeare from 1934 for a dollar. yes, it was magical. we meandered for a couple of hours then it was off to the art museum. mind you, prior to this, i had spent a ton of time on the internet searching for free stuff to do downtown cause i really wanted to explore the city but im broke. so, we get down there, and the museum's closed. on all mondays. i was so bummed!!! the museum was supposedly the highlight for my day. so we hit the conservatory instead. and it was totally worth it. the conservatory was gorgeous. everything was lively and fresh, such a comparison to the autumn outside. there were tons and tons of flowers from all over the world, and it was so beautiful. so we were able to enjoy God's artistry as opposed to man's.
we spent almost the entire hour after leaving the conservatory lost because, in true liz fashion, i only had directions and not a map. so after a bit of exploring and way too much time in the ghetto, we finally made it to this cute, tiny greek restaurant that i had found during my internet ventures. it happened to be next to an urban outfitters (which is, i've definately decided, my favourite store. hands down.) so we went there first. hung out, terriorized the place. ya know, the usual. then, we ate. and it was so good. like, oh my gosh good. she makes these really unique and delicious concoctions from all over the world. i will definately be revisting. we hung there for a bit longer then decided to avoid traffic and leave. on the way back to fairfield, we realized we still had like 3 hours till bible study, so we went to forest fair mall like the mall rats we arent.
we were looking for this store that evidently doesnt exist so we went glow mini-golfing instead.
and i totally won. he cheated. through the entire game, mind you, but i still won. rock on. a quick trip to starbucks, and then bible study. it was a bit of a let down cause we were just hanging out. but with taco chips and 'back to the future' who can complain? i didnt. we left there and went bowling, as it was a bowling night. sadly, his friends weren't there yet again. so we called them up and went to one of the girls houses where everyone was. i really love hanging out with that group. they are such real and fun people. i had a blast. and i got to see office space for the first time. it's pretty much hilarious. so by this time, it was 2 am-ish and we were tired. i drove home, justin left, and i went to bed, not to be seen again till 2pm this afternoon. life is beautiful. and if it couldnt get any better, my mom and sister should be here in like 10 minutes! ahhh....i lead a charmed life!!!!
